Tens of thousands of people from around the world have been pouring into the Ark Encounter since our opening on July 7. Every day we continue to see great crowds, and we expect August will be even busier than July. Well, Dave Adkisson, the president and CEO of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, recently visited the Ark and was impressed with the crowds and how they were handled. The Kentucky Chamber represents 3,800 businesses that employ over half of the state’s workers. Here’s what Mr. Adkisson said:

I took my three grandkids to the ark on Saturday, and we had a wonderful visit. They loved the displays and the petting zoo. I focused on the parking lot being full (!) and the amazing construction. What a feat!

You had quite a crowd on Saturday, but it was handled very efficiently.

Best wishes for continued success!

If you don’t have tickets yet to visit the Ark Encounter, plan your visit today. You don’t want to miss your opportunity to be part of history by being among the first to visit the Ark Encounter.

By the way, on most days we use half the massive parking lot for cars and the other half for tourist coaches, larger vehicles, and so on. The 4,000-space parking lot was built with the ongoing expansion of added attractions to the Ark Encounter in mind. We also have a section ready for an even larger parking lot expansion when the time comes.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
