Debate Encouragement from Children

by Ken Ham

Ever since we announced the debate between Bill Nye and me here at the Creation Museum on Tuesday, February 4, at 7:00 PM (ET), I’ve had an outpouring of encouraging Facebook posts, letters, and emails from supporters across the U.S. Now, I couldn’t possibly share all of those with you, but today I want to share a very special set of letters I received recently.

A family sent me a packet of letters and pictures to encourage me in the upcoming debate—each written and drawn by one of their many children. They shared Scripture and let me know they were praying for me. Below are just a few of the many notes and pictures they sent:

What an encouragement as I plan for the debate amidst so much time spent talking to media this week (radio, TV, newspapers, and so on).

It’s so great to see families raising children who love the Lord and follow His Word, who take the time to support fellow believers in their defense of the faith, and to teach their children to pray. I want to thank this family for their encouragement, and I want to thank all of you for your prayers and kind words as I prepare to share the gospel and the truth of Genesis with Bill Nye and the many people attending or watching the debate live online.

For more information on how you can watch the debate live at no cost on Tuesday, visit debatelive.org.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
