Time to Start Planning Your Summer Vacation!

by Ken Ham on November 17, 2012

Now is a great time to start making your summer vacation plans, because we have a very exciting event for you next summer. The Answers Mega Conference will once again be hosted near the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. Join us July 22–26, 2013, for a family event like no other!

At the 2013 Mega Conference, we will offer a complete children’s program for ages 4–12, allowing your children to experience Kingdom Chronicles—AiG’s newest Vacation Bible School (VBS) program. We will also have special sessions in the evenings for teens, and a variety of optional events, such as a picnic, a geology field trip, and Stargazers nights. Your conference registration will also include attendance at the Answers Research Summit—an in-depth scientific mini-conference (on Thursday and Friday).

Our special speakers include Todd Friel, Eric Hovind, Mark Coppenger, and Bill Jack. Session topics will cover creation apologetics, evangelism, sanctity of life, marriage/family, and biblical authority.

The conference has also been arranged to allow families plenty of time to visit many of the exciting attractions in the Smoky Mountains/Gatlinburg area, such as Dollywood, Dixie Stampede, and the Smoky Mountains National Park. We are offering special discounts on these attractions, as well as presenting a variety of lodging options that also offer special conference rates.

Complimentary admission to the Creation Museum, located about 4 1/2 hours away in the greater Cincinnati area, is also included. I encourage you to take an additional day coming or going to experience all the new exhibits the museum has to offer, including the new Verbum Domini exhibit of world-class biblical manuscripts.

I urge you to register now at www.answersmega.org. Special early-bird pricing available.

Review of New TV Series

I direct you to our weekly web feature News to Note, which comments and analyzes the news of the day that touches on the Bible's accuracy. The latest edition of News to Note has just been posted, and I want you to—in particular—read the review of the new TV series on the History Channel about the history of mankind, and how the series covers human origins and other topics from an evolutionary perspective. The review is yet another excellent article from AiG researcher Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
