Building bridges at AiG

A team of volunteers (some who were involved in the arch bridge project) last week basically completed the floating bridge and suspension bridge (see photographs). I tried out the suspension bridge—this is one FUN bridge! It’s hard to believe all the talent the Lord brings to AiG.

Today our video team shot a video of me talking about the Creation Museum and the financial need to fully fund the project to open debt free. This will be on the website in the next day or two (see photograph).

I asked if many of you would send in comments concerning the latest edition of Answers magazine that arrived in many homes last week. Here is a collection of comments from today:

"I wanted to let you know how GREAT your new magazine is. The latest issue was really educational, I haven't finished reading it yet, but I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy it and will finish reading it, cover to cover. Lord bless you all."

"In your recent article 'Happy Holidays' the entry for Easter is misleading. Over half the text is spent bringing up similarities to Paganism in an unbalanced way. When you mention that Easter is at the same time as pagan festivals you should have mentioned that the date of Easter is tied to the Jewish feast of Passover and the date of Christ's resurrection. You also mention that the holiday's name may have pagan origins. While this may be true in English it is not true for Latin or Greek, which were the primary languages of the church. It is also not true for modern French, Spanish, Swedish, Italian, or Dutch languages which are all derived from the word 'Pascha'."

"My mom loves Answers magazine. She reads it to my (87 year old) dad who is blind. He loves it too. She says that it is written in a language she can understand and is not complicated. She says she keeps picking it up and wants to keep reading it!"
