Answers in Genesis (AiG) is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis and affirming the authority of Scripture.
Seeking Publication: AiG publishes a very limited number of materials each year, most of which are written by in-house staff to fill a known need.
Due to the ever-increasing volume of manuscripts, proposals, digital media, and generalized ideas submitted to our staff, we are no longer able to accept unsolicited manuscripts, scripts, proposals, books, dvds, products or queries. Staffing and budget limitations preclude us from sufficiently evaluating the volume of material received.
We recommend that you consult Sally E. Stuart’s annual “Christian Writer’s Market Guide” (available online and from most bookstores and libraries) to find a list of hundreds of potential publishers.
If you have qualifications to write in a particular field, we would like to get to know more about you before considering any manuscript, book, dvd, or product. Please fill out the linked form for consideration.
Important! Unsolicited materials submitted for publication or review will, of necessity, be discarded or put into the Answers in Genesis research library/archives.
Seeking Endorsement: AiG is strict in its endorsements and does not readily give them out. To be eligible for an endorsement requires the book or product be written by a person well known to the AiG staff and leadership and in line with our ministry goals from cover to cover.
We have often found books that were excellent and a good asset to Christianity but still refrained from giving an endorsement for various reasons. Such reasons may include that the work was not as presuppositional as we would like, or that it discusses a topic that is outside of AiG’s scope (sometimes one sentence can be enough to decline the request). Yes, our standard is quite high.
We do want to encourage authors, researchers and speakers to continue to write and to challenge false worldviews and uphold the authority of the Bible. Our website offers thousands of free articles that will confirm for you what we teach about certain issues and gives you the opportunity to review your own work.
