Part of our Fair Trade collection, these unique, colorful beads are made of recycled paper by widows and abandoned wives in remote villages of Uganda. Long, triangular strips of paper are cut and hand-rolled around a needle to form the beads, which are then dipped four times in a sealant, making them water-resistant with a shiny finish. The monies earned by the women provides education for their children. Kit includes assorted beads and a nylon cord. Handmade in Uganda.
