Pro-abortion (really, pro-baby-murder) activists claim they are “pro-women” and that’s why they’re for abortion. But nothing could be further from the truth. They aren’t for women—they’re for an anti-God ideology that allows them to do whatever they want with their sexuality—without having the responsibility of bearing or raising a child. Another disgusting example of how committed many of these activists are to furthering the murder of babies above all else recently appeared in the news.
Jessa Duggar Seewald (well-known as being one of the older girls from the former popular reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting) recently released an emotional video detailing her and her family’s heartbreak after losing their fifth child in a miscarriage. As if this story wasn’t tragic enough, activists and so-called journalists soon latched on to her story, twisting it and exploiting the Seewald family’s pain with headlines and tweets such as:
Jessa Duggar Seewald Had an Abortion, Even If She Won’t Say the Word
Jessa Duggar Reveals She Had a Life-Saving Abortion in Emotional New Video
To be clear this is a member of one of the most famous vocally anti-abortion families …… admitting she got an abortion. . . .
Healthcare for me but not for thee.
Jessa Duggar Seewald did not have an abortion—she specifically says in her video she had a miscarriage and refers to the “loss” of her baby. It’s so obvious that she had a miscarriage that dozens of women in the comments section expressed their sympathy and shared their own miscarriage and infant-loss stories. No one was confused about the heartbreak the Seewald family experienced until pro-murder “news” outlets and Twitter trolls deceptively twisted her tragedy into a gruesome tale of hypocrisy and murder.
Since her story has gone viral for all the wrong reasons, Jessa has further shared,
Women have D&Cs for many reasons, not all of which involve killing a live human being. The ultrasound revealed that I had a missed miscarriage. My baby’s heart had stopped beating 3 weeks before I had a D&C. . . .
There’s a world of difference between someone dying and someone being killed. To equate one to the other — and to a mother grieving the loss of her baby no less — is severely distasteful. There is a world of difference between a mortician and a murderer. Even a child understands the difference between the two.
To further their murderous agenda, pro-abortion activists claim that a D&C is a lifesaving procedure that women must have access to and that bills that restrict or outlaw abortion (like a bill currently under consideration here in KY) will ban all such procedures. That is a complete and total lie. They will stop at nothing to advance their child sacrifice agenda.
It’s shocking and incredibly vile that these pro-abortion activists are taking advantage of one family’s deep pain to score a few cheap political points through deception and definition twisting.
As Jessa shared, D&Cs are done for a wide variety of reasons (such as removing a retained placenta after birth or removing a baby who has already passed away naturally) and the only D&C that anyone is fighting to have made illegal is the one used for an abortion where a living child is violently ripped from his or her mother’s womb.
It’s shocking and incredibly vile that these pro-abortion activists are taking advantage of one family’s deep pain to score a few cheap political points through deception and definition twisting. These people need to repent—the Lord hates lying lips and hands that shed innocent blood.
There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers. (Proverbs 6:16–19)
