Dr. D. James Kennedy, well-known TV pastor and evangelist, was a vocal defender of biblical creation.
He readily endorsed AiG’s Creation Museum, most notably as the project’s national honorary chairman.
When he died last September at age 76, Kennedy had pastored Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, for over 48 years. His sermons, featured on TV and radio, often focused on the truths of Genesis.
Dr. Kennedy was also known for his training outreach called Evangelism Explosion (EE) and the Knox Theological Seminary. Perhaps 5–6 million souls have received Christ as a result of EE-trained Christians sharing their faith, and many church leaders have studied apologetics, including biblical creation, at his seminary.
