The Creation Museum

How do you communicate the gospel to a culture that no longer believes the Bible because they have been taught that it is full of error? How do you reach the culture when generations have been indoctrinated to believe that the universe—and all that is in it—can be explained without God?

To effectively communicate the gospel today, you must start from the beginning of time when God’s story began. Answers in Genesis (AiG) is doing just that with its Creation Museum, a 50,000-squarefoot facility, which is set to open in the spring of 2007. This unique museum will engage the senses and proclaim that God’s Word is true—from the very first verse. Through high-tech, multimedia experiences, the Creation Museum will “wow” visitors with exhibits that creatively show that science confirms the Bible’s account of history.

With seating for 176, guests in the Special Effects Theater will experience a "visual thrill-ride" through the major events of biblical history.

Many Christians don’t know how to explain dinosaurs from a biblical standpoint. The Creation Museum, through its display of 50 full-sized dinosaurs, will show that the Bible provides amazing answers about these land animals that were created on Day 6.

As visitors make their way through 150 unique, state-of-the-art exhibits, they will see how the Bible’s history makes sense of the world today. They will explore the “Seven C’s of History”: creation, corruption, catastrophe, confusion, Christ, Cross and consummation; and they will see that the Bible is the history book of the universe.

The museum will also include rotating exhibits, lecture rooms, a children’s area, Museum a plaza with a coffee bar, a Noah’s Ark– themed café, a Dragon’s Den bookstore, beautiful nature trails that circle a 3-acre lake and much more.
