Summer begins this month, and with the new season comes another change to AiG’s prayer site. We have realized that a monthly article isn’t the most effective method to keep you updated on current prayer needs. So, this will be the last of our monthly prayer updates published on the website homepage.
Of course, we hope you will continue to pray often for Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and Ark Encounter. We will continue to update the prayer site occasionally, but you certainly don’t have to be in the dark about AiG’s latest outreaches.
To stay up-to-date with current prayer requests, we encourage you to sign up for our Answers Weekly email newsletter—and be sure to check the prayer section each Saturday. (And while you’re signing up for the email newsletter, consider requesting our free monthly print newsletter, Answers Update, which is written to help keep our supporters updated.) Also, Ken Ham’s blog is a great way to keep up with latest happenings in the ministry. And if you don’t already follow us on Facebook or Twitter, these are excellent resources for staying close to the heartbeat of Answers in Genesis.
To all our faithful prayer partners, thank you for supporting AiG in your prayers!
Over the past couple months, teams of artists, designers, builders, technicians, and many others have been hard at work around the Creation Museum. We thank God for allowing us to open not just one new museum feature but several this year—including the diverse insect collection in Dr. Crawley’s Insectorium, a spectacular dragon exhibit filling our main portico, and the most extensive zip line course in the region (due to open on June 20). Please pray that these additions will bring many more visitors to hear the truth of God’s Word and the good news of Jesus Christ.
Please pray for continued and effective growth of our planned giving outreach to supporters of the AiG ministry, including increased use of our planned giving website at www.genesisgift.org. Also, please ask the Lord to bring more signups for our free and informative email newsletter about planned giving (with all the latest tax, economic, and charitable giving updates). Finally, pray for the Lord to bless our continuing outreach in providing will preparation kits and other information regarding planned giving to our supporters.
We praise the Lord for the good supply of quality technical papers for our online Answers Research Journal.
Please pray for the continuing work on bringing book projects to publication with Master Books, as Dr. Georgia Purdom works on the Galápagos Islands book, and Dr. Andrew Snelling with Dr. Steven Boyd as they work on their Grappling with the Chronology of the Genesis Flood book. Also, pray for the continuing research in astronomy (Dr. Danny Faulkner) and the radioactive dating of meteorites (Dr. Andrew Snelling), and we also ask prayer for the writing of technical papers presenting the results of this research.
Dr. Terry Mortensen traveled to northern England and Scotland for ten days earlier this month. We praise God for the opportunity and ask the Lord for a lasting legacy from this trip—that unbelievers will be challenged by what they heard and also that Christians will be strengthened and built up in their faith. Please continue to pray for traveling mercies for our various speakers with their busy schedules, traveling to multiple venues.
Please pray that staff needs in the Administration Division will be filled with good, qualified applicants.
Answers in Genesis is an apologetics ministry, dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
