Web visitors in the U.K. will be happy to know that our sister office in Leicester, England, is running a TV program in Darwin’s homeland.

Revelation TV is a U.K. satellite company that runs two channels, Revelation TV and Genesis TV. Genesis TV now has a daily “talk radio”-style program every weekday afternoon, and AiG–U.K. has been asked to fill this slot on occasion.

The next edition will be April 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (GMT), with live phone-ins. Paul Taylor of AiG–U.K. will be using the The New Answers Book as the theme material, and the next broadcast will be on the topic of “Why Shouldn’t Christians Accept Millions of Years?”

The program will be broadcast by Astra satellite and online at www.revelationtv.com.

If you subscribe to DIRECTV, the satellite network, you can now tune in to faith-building AiG teaching on the Answers Creation Hour every week. This new outreach of AiG premiered tonight (Tuesday) on the NRB channel (number 378) and will continue every Tuesday evening from 9–10 p.m. (EST).

In response to viewer requests, the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) approached AiG last fall about such a TV program. AiG’s VP of media and marketing, Dale Mason, remarked that “most ministries pay hundreds of thousands of dollars per year for time slots like this. Due to NRB’s strong desire for AiG programming, in the end, we didn’t have to incur these kinds of expenses.”

The senior vice president and COO of the NRB Network, Troy Miller, told AiG that “viewers will be fascinated and intrigued while watching these well-researched and well-produced programs.” Tonight’s program, for instance, included a half-hour segment on how Noah’s Ark was constructed and why it is a picture of salvation (you can view a clip on our Is Noah’s Ark a myth? page).

AiG is thrilled about the possibility of reaching into as many as 16 million U.S. households (plus over 4 million Latin American homes) every week.

The NRB Network on channel 378 is available to all DIRECTV subscribers through its base service, the “Total Choice” package. In other words, all DIRECTV subscribers have access to AiG’s new program. Over the years, DIRECTV has become America’s fastest-growing digital multi-channel satellite television service provider.

Pray for this new “channel” as it shares the truth of the Bible, beginning with Genesis. It is our hope that millions will be exposed to the creation/gospel message this year!
