Opportunity of a Lifetime

About 4,300 years ago, eight people experienced the incredible event of their lifetime as they boarded Noah’s Ark.

While the situation is quite different today, you will have (over the next two years) an opportunity of a lifetime: getting a special lifetime boarding pass for you and your family (or grandparents and their grandchildren) for what I believe will be one of the greatest evangelistic outreaches of our time—the Ark Encounter, with a full-size Noah’s Ark.

In Noah’s day, the whole world, except Noah and his family, rejected the truth of God’s Word:

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. (Genesis 6:5–8)

Even though we see great wickedness all around us today, thankfully there are many people who have not rejected the truth of God’s Word. And many of them are burdened to share the saving gospel with their families, friends, and others.

In the book of 2 Peter, we are warned that there is another global judgment to come. Not by water this time, as it was 4,300 years ago, but by fire: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

Answers in Genesis is building a colossal, life-size Noah’s Ark out of wood, with exciting animatronics and walk-through exhibits, scheduled to open in the late summer of 2016. This huge project will be built on 800 beautiful acres in Northern Kentucky (south of Cincinnati) just 40 miles from the Creation Museum. For all those who visit the Ark Encounter’s life-size Ark, they will have an encounter with this biblical vessel and also encounter God’s Word. Our prayer is that our guests will have an eternity-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus—our Ark of salvation!

Until May 31, 2016, AiG is offering a variety of lifetime boarding passes. Many of these passes give special opportunities for you to impact your family and friends with the truth of God’s Word and the gospel. And there will be a chance to leave a legacy for your children (and grandchildren). Each lifetime boarding pass, by the way, also includes a lifetime admission to the popular Creation Museum.

I truly believe that a lifetime boarding pass to the Ark and the Creation Museum is one of the greatest opportunities you will ever have to impact so many lives for the Lord Jesus Christ. Meanwhile, you will be helping fund this amazing outreach!

Don’t miss out on this offer of a lifetime. It’s one of the greatest investments you could make in this time of history. Find out more information by reading the information stapled in the middle of this newsletter. In addition, you can keep up to date with the construction of the full-size Noah’s Ark by going to ArkEncounter.com.

Noah was commended by God in what I call the “Hebrews Hall of Fame” for his unwavering faith in God’s Word: “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith” (Hebrews 11:7).

Noah is also commended by God for being “a preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2:5).

What an example Noah has set for us today, 4,300 years later. We live in a world where many people are still open to the gospel. I rejoice every time I learn of another family who is committed to the truth of God’s Word with a desire to proclaim the saving gospel of Jesus Christ by helping to build the Ark.

What a great opportunity we have today to share with as many souls as we can that the bad news concerning our sin (as recorded in Genesis) has been dealt with because of the good news of the gospel (the death and Resurrection of Christ).

I do urge you to consider becoming a boarding-pass member of the Ark Encounter (and Creation Museum) to help you be a Noah-like “preacher of righteousness” for your children and other loved ones in today’s challenging world.
