This is Ken Ham, a publisher of the award-winning family magazine called Answers.
This week we’ve looked at the idea that public schools in America are largely temples of atheism. So how can we equip children to recognize error and cling to truth?
Well, we must show them that God’s Word is the ultimately authority for our thinking. We don’t start with man’s ideas—we start with God’s Word. Truth isn’t relative—God’s Word is truth. We lay that foundation, then help them build a biblical worldview on that unshakeable foundation.
This means we teach apologetics to children, so they know why they believe what they believe—and why we can trust the Bible.
This kind of “worldview-building” doesn’t happen by accident. Parents: you must be diligent and intentional!
