This is Ken Ham, author, speaker, and blogger on science and the Bible’s reliability.
All this week we’ve been looking at the claim that the Bible is missing books. We’ve seen that the apocrypha and the so-called “missing” Gospels aren’t Scripture. They aren’t internally consistent or biblically accurate.
But what about the Book of Enoch? After all, unlike the others, a small phrase from this book is quoted in the New Testament, in the book of Jude. But all this means is that one of the prophecies in the book is inspired not that the whole book is. After all, Paul quotes pagan poets in Acts but that doesn’t mean those poets are inspired by God!
We aren’t missing books from the Bible. God ensured the canon we have today is accurate and complete.
