Without the aid of telescopes and other modern inventions, if you were asked to count the stars you might conclude after a lot of work that there’s about ten thousand. But you’d be wrong. Very wrong!
You see, our galaxy has billions of stars and that’s just one galaxy! There are many, many more galaxies out there!
God told Abraham that he’d have as many descendants as there is sand on the seashore and stars in the sky. God was saying that Abraham’s descendants would be so many, they’d be uncountable to the human mind.
People in the past believed there were just a few thousand stars. But God’s Word correctly recorded that the stars are innumerable!
