Are We Just Animals?

What are humans? Well, according to evolutionary ideas, humans are highly evolved animals. It’s said we’re descended from ape-like creatures and so we’re just animals. But is that true?

No!

God’s Word teaches that the first man was made from dust, and the first woman from his side. We didn’t come from animals. Actually, we’re created distinctly different from them made in the very image of God and given dominion over the animals. Humans aren’t like anything else in creation!

And this fact is obvious if we look around us. Humans alone wonder at the meaning of life. We create meaningful art, and study nature—we do unique things because humans are unique.
