The Christian faith is not a blind faith, but one that calls us to love God with our hearts and minds. Because God is faithful and true, we can have absolute confidence in him and his Word.
So, as we’ve looked at this week, when you encounter a truth claim, stop and ASK questions to make sure it’s so—even if that claim seems to confirm something you already believe.
After all, you don’t want to spread bad arguments!
The world presents false claims to draw us away from Christ. But it is in Jesus that we find all of “the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” So, when someone calls us to doubt his Word, stop and compare the claims to the truth of his unfailing Word.
