Kangaroos are only found in the wild in my homeland of Australia. Now, I’m often asked, “how’d they get there?”

Well, two representatives of the kangaroo kind survived the flood on the ark and then spread out, eventually ending up only in Australia.

Some people say it’s impossible—after all, we don’t have any fossils of kangaroos on the trail to Australia. But fossil formation requires very specific conditions—the conditions of the flood!

Consider this: hundreds of billions of passenger pigeons once lived across North America. And yet we only have a handful of their fossils.

So, how’d kangaroos get to Australia? That’s what we’re looking at all this week.
