It Does Not End with Death

When you share or reflect on the gospel message, what comes to mind? Likely, it’s the death of Christ on the cross. He died in our place, taking the penalty of death we deserve, for us. He bore the wrath of God against sin, that we might experience God’s mercy and grace. Wow—what incredible good news!

But it doesn’t end there! You see, the Apostle Paul wrote that if Christ died but wasn’t raised back to life then our faith is useless. We’re still in our sins. But Jesus didn’t stay dead. On the third day, he came back to life, conquering death. And later he ascended to heaven.

When we share the gospel, remember Christ’s resurrection!
