Ever heard that diamonds are a “girl’s best friend?” Well, they’re also a creationist’s best friend!
You see, diamonds are the hardest substance on earth, nearly impossible to contaminate. And scientists have found carbon fourteen in diamonds. Here’s why that’s important.
Carbon fourteen decays relatively quickly. After fifty-thousand years, it would be almost undetectable. So, anything supposedly older than that shouldn’t have any carbon fourteen in it—and yet diamonds do! And they’re thought to be billions of years old!
This is a big problem for the evolutionary old-earth worldview. But not for those who start with God’s Word.
