A popular claim on the internet is that Jesus never existed—that he was just made up. But what about the testimony of the disciples?
You see, each of Jesus’ twelve disciples suffered for their faith. Eleven were martyred for refusing to denounce Jesus as the risen Lord. And the twelfth suffered persecution and was exiled for his testimony about Christ.
Now, people will suffer and die for something they hold as true. But no sane person would suffer and die for something they knew was a lie. If the disciples had invented Jesus and his Resurrection, would they really be willing to suffer and even die for it?
Their testimony is clear: Jesus really lived, died and rose again.
