Have you ever heard the claim that Jesus never even lived? Well, to say that simply ignores the evidence from the Bible and history.
Josephus, a Jewish historian, wrote about the execution of James. He was described as “the brother of Jesus who was called the Christ.”
Another historian, a Roman named Jacitus [ˈta-sə-təs]1 , wrote that the Emperor Nero falsely blamed Christians for the burning of Rome. Who were these “Christians”? Well, he explained that the name came from Christ—who was executed by Pontius Pilate.
Many other historians mention Jesus as a person who really lived. To say otherwise is to ignore history and the Bible.
