Going “Childfree”?

Last year billboards in Canada showed a smiling couple proclaiming they went “childfree!” Supposedly, going “childfree” will save the environment.

But this runs directly contrary to God’s Word, which tells us to be fruitful and multiply. Indeed, one of the reasons for marriage is to produce godly offspring!

This is just another attack on the family by the evolutionary, secular worldview. In that worldview, earth is all we have … and there’s no ultimate hope for earth, apart from us changing our ways.

But in a biblical worldview, earth was given to us and put under our dominion. This means we care for earth and wisely use it for God’s glory and our good.
