This is Ken Ham, on a mission to call the church back to God’s Word and the gospel.
A recent study looked at hundreds of coprolites. Now that’s the scientific name for feces that’ve been turned into fossils. These coprolites were remarkably preserved, giving scientists a look at the last meal of hundreds of fish.
Now, fish excrement doesn’t just pile up at the bottom of the ocean, waiting to become a fossil. So why do we find these fossil latrines?
Well, for one, the present isn’t the key to understanding the past! Today feces are quickly broken down by various creatures. But during the global flood described in Genesis, fish feces were rapidly buried, before they had a chance to decay.
It’s biblical history that explains what we see in the world!
