Part 3

Listen

This is Ken Ham, encouraging all churches to start their thinking with God’s Word.

Transcript

We’ve all heard the children’s chorus that says we’re “red and yellow, black and white.” But this week we’ve learned we’re all one race. There aren’t red, yellow, black, and white races. There’s only one race.

And we could say it’s a brown race. We all have a brownish pigment called melanin, the main pigment involved in skin shade. Note I said skin shade, not color. We’re all the same basic color—brown—just different shades!

To put it simply, a lot of melanin produces a dark brown shade. A little bit of melanin produces a light brown shade. And there’s all kinds of shades in between.

It’s just part of the diversity God put into the one humankind.
