This week we’re looking at the 7 C’s of History. And so far, we’ve creation, just six thousand years ago, and the corruption of God’s once “very good” creation because of sin.

Well, Adam and Eve’s descendants became increasingly wicked. God once again judged sin, and this time with a “catastrophe,” the third C. Around one thousand, six hundred years after creation, God sent a global flood to destroy all life outside the ark as a punishment for sin.

Now this flood laid down most of the rock layers and fossils we see all around the world. They aren’t the result of millions of years . . . they’re a reminder of the year-long flood, about four thousand, three hundred years ago.
