Today we celebrate and remember Christ’s birth in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago. Now, Jesus probably wasn’t born on this day. Still, his incarnation—when God became man—is certainly worth focusing on … and celebrating.
As you celebrate Christmas today with your family and your traditions, remember to keep Jesus at the center. Why? Well, it’s because Jesus came as the perfect God-man that we can be saved.
He willingly chose to come to earth as a descendant of Adam to die in our place, taking our penalty of death for us. We deserve death because of our sin, but he died that we might live!
So, that’s the good news worth celebrating today.
