Every year on November eleventh, we take time to honor those who served—and continue to serve—in the Armed Forces.
We know that our freedom here in America isn’t free. And we’re thankful for those who have sacrificed for it. We’re also reminded of the ultimate sacrifice—the death of Jesus Christ for us, so that we might be freed from our sin and have eternal life. That’s eternal freedom, and it’s only available by receiving Christ’s free gift of salvation.
Christ gives us eternal freedom. But while we’re here on earth, we can enjoy temporary freedom, thanks to the sacrifice of so many.
So to all the veterans: thanks!
