Yesterday we learned that only humans are made in God’s image. We have a unique value that nothing else in creation has. But that doesn’t mean that everything else God made isn’t important.
When we study God’s Word, we see that God loves creation. He cares for the animals and takes joy in what he’s made. And we should too!
Now, we’re to have dominion over creation. Having dominion means we’re to care for God’s creation … as its stewards. He’s entrusted what he’s made to us. That means we should care for creation as he does—and with joy.
Christians should be on the frontlines of environmental care because we know we have a mandate from our Creator.
