Transcript

Some Christians believe that Noah’s flood was just a local event. Why?

Well, it’s not because Genesis teaches a local flood. Genesis is clear: the flood covered the entire earth. And Jesus and the apostles also taught a global flood.

The idea of a local flood comes from outside the Bible, specifically the idea of millions of years. But those supposed long ages allegedly come from the rock layers and fossils. And a global flood would’ve ripped up previous layers … and then redeposited them. There go the millions of years!

You can’t believe in millions of years and a global flood. Instead, let’s start with Scripture! It was a global event!
