Happy Father’s Day!

It’s almost Father’s Day, when we honor and remember our fathers. My own father was a godly man, and I’m forever thankful for his legacy!

Now, if you’re a dad, you know how kids ask a lot of questions. These can be good moments to stop and impart biblical truth. And as you answer, remember: you don’t have to know everything. It’s OK if you don’t … and if your kids see that you don’t, find the answer together!

Or when your children ask you a question about the Bible, even if you know it right away, open your Bible and have them read it. They’ll discover the answer. This teaches them that God’s Word is their authority.

Yes, it’s all part of raising our kids in the admonition of the Lord.
