I’ve had people tell me that, because there’re miracles in the Bible, it’s obviously not true. Just the stuff of legends, they say. But this is circular reasoning. It assumes miracles aren’t true, and therefore assumes the miracles in the Bible aren’t true!

But the Bible describes God as all-powerful. He’s clearly able to do miracles! It’s not hard for him to divide the Red Sea, feed five thousand, or raise Lazarus from the dead.

Now, God doesn’t normally do miracles—that’s why they’re miraculous. They go outside how God normally sustains this fallen creation.

But what was God’s greatest miracle? Raising Jesus from the dead so we could have eternal life!
