Sadly, many Christians try to add millions of years into Genesis. But inserting these long ages into the Bible before man appeared has many consequences. One of them is that you really can’t believe in a global flood anymore.

You see, the idea of millions of years comes from the belief that rock layers were laid down over very long ages. But a global flood would’ve ripped up all those layers. The waters would’ve re-deposited them. So you have to abandon a global flood to believe in millions of years.

But Genesis states “all the high mountains under the whole of heaven were covered.” And “all flesh died.” Genesis is clear—there was a global flood.“
