Many people claim that Jesus never directly addressed homosexual behavior, so he mustn’t have had a problem with it. But, actually, Jesus had a lot to say on this issue!
You see, all Scripture is the word of Christ—not just the red letters in the Gospels.
So when we read Genesis, Leviticus, Romans, and First Corinthians—we’re reading the word of Christ! His Word declares that homosexual behavior is sinful … and that God’s design for marriage is one man for one woman.
When Jesus was asked about marriage, he quoted from Genesis. He said God made us male and female, and the two become one flesh in marriage. Jesus upheld the definition given to us in Genesis—one man for one woman.
