The Bible teaches that organisms reproduce according to their “kinds.” Now “Kind” is about the level of “family” in our classification system.
You see, God built an incredible amount of variety into the DNA of every creature he made. And this allows them to adapt to an ever-changing world.
Now, some people say this is evolution—after all, we see change, they say. But evolution requires the addition of brand-new genetic information to build new features. That’s not what we observe!
What we observe is a loss—or reshuffling—of information that already exists! Information always comes from information. And it was created by God at the very beginning.
