He believes the universe is young, as we’d expect starting with the Bible. So he predicted the strength of the magnetic fields of Uranus and Neptune—before we knew what they were. He assumed only a few thousand years of decay, not millions of years. And when Voyager 2 was sent into space to measure their magnetic fields, Dr. Humphreys’ calculation was accurate!
