Variety Within Kinds

Now all this week, we’ve been looking at the biblical concept of “kinds.” We learned that kind is about the level of “family” in modern classification. And we discussed that species will form as creatures within kinds adapt to different environments.

You see, God put a tremendous amount of variety into the DNA of the original kinds he created. This variety ensured they’d be able to adapt in an ever-changing world. Adaptation allows lions to live on the Serengeti … tigers in jungles … There all cats, but they’ve adapted to specific environments.

This adaptation is only possible because of the information God built into the original DNA of the cat kind.
