Gender—A Social Construct?

Public schools across the US are increasingly pushing radical gender ideologies on young children. Now as parents, we need to be equipping our children to think biblically about this vital issue.

Today, it’s popular to believe that gender is just a “social” construct—that your gender is whatever you want it to be, regardless of your biology. That’s why there’re dozens of supposed genders out there.

But Scripture doesn’t have this confusion. Genesis chapter 1 tells us we’re created male and female. That’s God’s very good design. And in a world broken by sin, some people do struggle with this issue and they deserve love and compassion. But we’re created male and female.
