Suppressing Scientific Research?

Many people view science as a “neutral” pursuit. But it’s not! People approach evidence with their own set of assumptions. And they use their assumptions to interpret the evidence.

In our day of political correctness, scientific research is sometimes suppressed. And that’s because the conclusions might not agree with the status quo. For example, last year one hundred academics in the UK signed a letter, expressing their concern about a suppression of research regarding transgender issues.

This is a reminder to us that the research published in scientific journals isn’t the final answer on anything. God’s Word is the standard.
