I’m often asked, “If we’re all descended from Adam and Eve, why are there so many races?” Well, the answer’s easy: there’s only one race!
The Bible teaches that we all descended from Adam and Eve. And the Apostle Paul says all people come from one blood. Now, when scientists finished mapping the human genome, they declared, “There’s only one race—the human race.”
God built an incredible amount of variety into the human genome. And people have a variety of skin shades, eye shapes, colors, and more. Actually, if Adam and Eve were middle brown, within just one generation, people could’ve had very dark skin, very light, in between!
There’s only one race—the human race.
