Our museum shows that cultures around the world feature legends of dragons.

Now, how could cultures—that never came into contact with each other—all come up with similar stories? Well, let’s start with God’s Word.

As we’ve seen this week, dinosaurs were created on day six of creation week, so they lived alongside humans. During the flood, almost all dinosaurs died and were fossilized. But two of every kind went on the ark. After the flood, it’s likely these reptiles had a difficult time surviving in a completely different world … and slowly died out. But their presence lived on in the stories passed down. And eventually these exaggerated stories became dragon legends.
