Transcript

Throughout the Bible we read about regular creatures that live with us today—horses, dogs, lions, birds, and fish. Many of these ordinary creatures are found in the book of Job. But amidst the descriptions of mountain goats, ostriches, and hawks is a description of a creature called Behemoth. This animal is the chief of what God has made—with bones like iron and a tail that moves like a cedar. God says it was alongside Job. What could it be?

Many Bible commentaries say Behemoth was an elephant or a hippo. But neither of these creatures accurately matches the description of Behemoth.

The only creature that seems to fit is now extinct—a dinosaur!
