In the Days of Peleg?

Genesis one says God gathered all the waters to one place … and the dry land appeared. Now This implies just one land mass originally. And geology has confirmed that our planet did indeed have just one continent in the past.
So what happened? Well, some Christians have claimed the continents split apart in the days of Peleg. In his genealogy, the Bible says that in Peleg’s days, “the earth was divided.” But if this refers to the continents, there would’ve been a catastrophe—one that would’ve destroyed the world! This verse actually refers to the Tower of Babel, when languages were changed … and people were scattered.
So when did the continents break apart? Well, that’s for tomorrow.
