All this week we’ve been looking at gender and what the Bible says about us being created male and female. Yesterday we learned the Bible teaches that even in a sin-cursed world, we’re still created male and female.
But in a world broken by sin, nothing is straightforward. Sometimes genetic and anatomical anomalies result in problems. But these sad cases are very rare—and they can’t be used to support the popular idea that gender is on a spectrum.
And, in our sin-cursed world, some people will genuinely struggle with gender issues. They deserve our compassion, but they need to know the truth from God’s Word: we’re designed by our Creator, male and female.
