Day—it means day!

Part 3

Listen

Transcript

A growing number of Christians believe the days in Genesis were not literal 24-hour days. Instead, they try to squeeze millions of years into the creation week.

But this creates a big problem. You see, Scripture is very clear that death is the penalty for sin. It’s because of Adam’s sin that there’s death in the world. But if the earth is millions of years old, then the rock layers—and fossils—we see around the world are millions of years old. And that means there’s been millions of years of death … before sin. It puts the punishment before the crime.

Why did Jesus have to come and die if death isn’t really the penalty for sin?

Millions of years undermines the gospel!
