Many Christians believe the flood of Noah’s day was just a local flood. Now, Where does this idea come from?
Well, definitely not from the Bible! It’s an attempt to fit the secular idea of millions of years into the Bible. You see, if there was a global flood, it would lay down rock layers we see around the world. And yet it’s those rock layers that are interpreted as being millions of years old.
But a global flood washes away the millions of years!
Those who believe the flood was local start with ideas from outside Scripture. They then reinterpret God’s clear Word to make it match those ideas. But fallible man should not be our authority!
