Have you ever heard the claim that “it’s here, so it must’ve evolved”? Well, this is an argument known as “begging the question.” It assumes evolution is true, and then offers that assumption as evidence for evolution.

Simply claiming “because something’s here, it must’ve evolved” isn’t a good argument at all. It’s like saying, “Evolution’s true because evolution’s true.” Just because something’s here doesn’t mean it evolved. There could be another option. And the other option is given in God’s Word. God created everything, so the reason “it’s here” is because God created the original kinds that have reproduced and filled the earth.
