Transcript

Some Christians claim the Bible teaches there wasn’t any rain before the flood. But the Bible doesn’t actually say this!

It does say no rain had fallen before man was created on day six of creation week. Instead, a mist watered the ground. But the text never says the mist continued … or was the only water source after Adam’s creation.

And the water cycle, which includes evaporation and rain, is integral to our climate and how our planet works. It seems unlikely that it wasn’t part of God’s original creation.

Since the Bible isn’t dogmatic on this issue, Christians shouldn’t be either. This argument should be avoided since it just is not supported by Scripture.
