It’s All in How You Say It

Earlier this year, news headlines proclaimed, “Missing Link Dinosaur Discovered.” Most people won’t read beyond the sensational headline to discover the facts for themselves. But what were the facts?

Researchers had discovered an Archaeopteryx fossil in Germany. Now, Archaeopteryx was once thought by evolutionists to be a missing link between birds and dinosaurs. But now most researchers agree it was just a bird! So the headline should’ve read “Fossil Bird Discovered” . . . because that’s what it was!

As Christians, we need to be discerning. Don’t just read the headlines, especially if something contradicts God’s Word. Look for the facts, not the sensational spin.
