All this week we’re looking at creation basics. Now, today’s topic is the global Flood.

When you look around the world, you aren’t seeing the earth as God made it. The Bible tells us Noah’s Flood destroyed the world of that day. What we have today is very different to the original creation.

Miles of rock layers, billions of fossils, mountain ranges, ocean trenches, volcanos, deserts, glaciers, canyons, and even the shape of the continents, are all the result of the Flood and its after-effects.

Indeed, without the global Flood, it’s hard to explain many of the features of our planet. But the Flood provides the perfect mechanism to powerfully shape geology and our world’s surface.
